Guest troubleshooting

Fix expired or used invite links, unsupported browsers, and interrupted recordings.

Most problems with an invite link have one of a few causes, and the fastest fix is usually a new link from the organisers or a different browser. Find your symptom below.

The page shows "Invite Expired"

The link's validity period has passed. This title appears only for older per-table links; event- and session-wide links show Invalid Invite instead (see below).

Fix: ask the organisers for a new invite link. If the event is still running and you think the link should work, tap Try again — the page rechecks the link.

It worked when the welcome page with the event name loads.

The page shows "Invalid Invite"

Your link may be expired, revoked, or used up — for example a single-use link someone in your group has already opened.

Fix: ask the organisers for a new link.

It worked when the new link opens the welcome page.

The page shows "Browser Not Supported"

Your browser is missing features needed for audio recording; the page lists which ones.

Fix: open the link in an up-to-date browser such as Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge, then tap Refresh page.

It worked when the welcome page appears instead of the warning.

A yellow notice appears while recording

Your connection dropped or audio stopped coming through.

Fix: keep the tab open — the page reconnects automatically and keeps your recording alive. If the notice says no audio is being captured from your microphone, check the microphone permission or reload the page.

It worked when the notice disappears and the status shows Recording.

You closed the tab during a recording

The page warns before you leave, because an unsubmitted recording can be lost.

Fix: open the invite link again. If you can't get back to recording, tell the organisers straight away so your group loses as little discussion time as possible.

Still stuck? Tell the organisers — they can issue a new link or record your group on another device.
