Roles in your organisation

Every person in your organisation has one of four roles — Owner, Admin, Member or Viewer. The role decides what someone can create and manage; visibility settings decide what they can see.

How roles interact with visibility

Visibility levels (Personal, Shared, Organisation) restrict what Members and Viewers see. Admins and Owners always have access to every item and can manage its visibility — keep that in mind when deciding who gets the Admin role. Details: Who can see your work: visibility levels.

Assign or change a role

You need the Admin or Owner role yourself — otherwise the Organisation section (including Members) does not appear in Settings at all.

1. In the sidebar, open the profile menu and select Settings.
2. On the Organisation settings page, open Team — the Members section is at the top.
3. Enter the person's email, pick a role from the dropdown, and click Add member. This only works for people who are not yet members — to change an existing member's role, remove them and add them again with the new role.

Add member only works for people who already have a deliberAIde account. For everyone else, use Invites below — that sends an invitation email so they can join.

To remove someone from the organisation, click Remove next to their name.

Invite new people

Under Invites, enter an email address, pick a role, and click Send invite. The person receives an invitation email and joins with that role. You can assign Member, Admin or Viewer; the Owner role is set when the organisation is created.
