Your profile and interface language
How to switch the interface language and change your password, and what account details you can see in Settings.
You switch the interface language under "Preferences" and change your password under "Security" — both in your personal settings. Your email address is shown there too, but it cannot be edited from Settings.
Switch the interface language
- At the bottom of the sidebar, click your name and select Settings.
- In the left column under Personal, open Preferences.
- Under Interface language, pick English, German or Spanish. The interface switches immediately — there is nothing to save.
The language setting only changes the interface. It does not affect the language of your recordings or transcripts — see Interface and content languages.
Change your password
You can jump straight to the right place: the profile menu also has a Change password entry.
- In the left column under Personal, open Security.
- Enter your password under Current password.
- Enter a new password under New password — at least 8 characters.
- Repeat it under Confirm new password.
- Click Change password. You see "Password changed successfully." and a prompt to sign in again — click Sign in again and log in with your new password.
If the two new passwords differ, the page tells you before anything is changed.
Your account details
Under Account actions you can check which account you are using: Signed in as shows your email address. Changing your email address or display name is not available in Settings. The Sign out button in this section ends your session — useful on a shared computer.
