The session page
What the discussion cards, status and visibility badges, and header buttons on a session page mean.
The session page shows one card per discussion — each card carries the conversation's status, its guest invite link, and the buttons to record, view or monitor it. This is the page you keep open while a session runs.
What a discussion card tells you
- Status badge — where the conversation stands: Created or Pending (nothing recorded yet), Recording (someone is recording right now), Paused, Processing (the recording is being prepared — see How long does processing take?), Ready or Completed (transcript available), Error (something failed).
- Visibility badge — who can see the discussion: Personal, Shared, Organisation, or Inherit (it follows the session's setting).
- Invite link box — Copy link and QR code give guests access to record themselves.
- Two buttons — Open monitor follows the conversation live; the other button is Start recording while nothing is captured, and View once there is something to read.
The counters above the cards total the discussions, how many are completed, and how many are recording right now.
The header buttons
- New discussion — add another discussion card.
- Invite participants — create invite links for guests.
- Open monitor — follow all of this session's recordings live.
- Bulk upload — upload many audio files or transcripts in one go. For each file you choose Create discussion from file name to make a new discussion (you can rename it) or Add to existing discussion to attach it to one that already exists.
- Download all QR codes — one printable code per invite link, as a single download. The button appears once at least one discussion has an invite link.
- The gear icon opens Edit session — name, times and format.
Each card also has a ⋯ menu with Edit (rename), Move and Delete for that single discussion.
