Prompts, skills, templates and workflows
What each entry in the + menu next to the chat input inserts, creates or runs.
The + button below the message box collects everything reusable: quick artifact creation, plus your library of prompts, templates, workflows and skills. This article covers the menu itself — for what each item type is good for and how to build your own, see What is the library?.
| Menu entry | What it does |
|---|---|
| New task for this scope | Starts a fresh Co-Pilot task for your current working scope. |
| Create | Lists artifact types such as Document, Dashboard and Plan. Picking one pins a Create as chip on your next message. |
| Library → Prompts | Inserts the saved prompt text into the message box, so you can edit it before sending. |
| Library → Templates | Tells the Co-Pilot to create a new artifact in the template's format. A badge on each template shows the target type. |
| Library → Workflows | Runs the selected workflow right away. |
| Library → Skills | Activates the skill for this chat — see below. |
| Library → Add to library... | Saves a new prompt, template, workflow or skill. Sits at the bottom of the expanded Library section. |
| Library → Manage library... | Opens your library to edit existing items. Also at the bottom of the Library section. |
Two smaller signals inside the menu:
- System marks built-in items that ship with deliberAIde.
- None available means the group has no items yet — add one via Add to library....
Type / for quick access
Prefer the keyboard? Type / at the start of the message box to open quick access. Keep typing to filter your prompts, templates, workflows and skills by name, then press Enter (or click a result) to insert or run it — the same as choosing it from the menu.
The active-skill chip
When you pick a skill, an Active skill chip with the skill's name appears above the message box. The skill shapes every message you send while the chip is visible. To switch it off, click the small button on the chip (Clear active skill).
