Follow a discussion live

Watch a running discussion from the monitor — live status at a glance, plus the transcript as it grows.

You can watch a running discussion without joining it: open the monitor from the session page for a live status overview, then open the transcript to read along as it grows. Both update automatically — you never need to reload the page.

Open the monitor

  1. In your project, open the event and then the session you want to watch.
  2. In the header of the session page, click Open monitor. Each discussion card also has its own Open monitor button if you only care about one discussion.
  3. The Coordinator monitoring page opens, showing how many discussions are active and what is currently being generated.

What updates by itself

The monitor keeps a live connection: the summary counts, the list under Discussion health, current processing runs, and freshly generated outputs all update automatically whenever something changes. Click Refresh if you want an immediate update, and check the last-updated note in the header to see how current the snapshot is. If your network drops, a Reconnecting notice appears and the page catches up once the connection is back.

Alerts and interventions

The monitor also surfaces Attention signals — a feed of alerts graded by severity into Critical, Warning and Informational. When you have dealt with one, select Acknowledge; it moves into an Acknowledged for now section so the active list stays focused.

When an alert needs a hands-on response, open the Coordinator action dialog. Under Next action you pick how to recover a stalled recording: Continue on the same link resumes where it left off, or Start over on the same link begins a fresh recording on the same guest link. Select Submit action to send it.

Read along in the transcript

  1. Under Discussion health, find the discussion you want to follow — you can search by discussion, event, or session.
  2. Click Open discussion.
  3. In the discussion view, new transcript segments appear at the bottom as people speak, and the view follows along automatically.
  4. Scroll up to re-read an earlier part — automatic scrolling pauses so you don't lose your place.
  5. Click New segments below to jump back down; the transcript shows the newest segment and follows the discussion again.
