Share with specific people
Give selected organisation members access to a project without opening it up to everyone.
To share a project with selected people, set its visibility to Shared and pick members. Only the people you pick — plus organisation admins and owners — can then see it.
Add people
- On the project's card in your projects, open the ⋯ menu and select Edit.
- In the Edit project dialog, under Visibility, select the Shared tile.
- Under Share with, click the Search members field and type a name or email.
- In the list that appears, click each person you want to add.
- Click Save changes. The project's badge now shows Shared, and the people you picked can open it.
What shared people can do
People you add can open the project and everything in it that follows the project's visibility. They can also create discussions in it. They cannot change the project's settings or its sharing — that stays with you and with organisation admins.
Good to know
- The picker only lists members of your organisation. Someone new must join your organisation first — see Roles in your organisation.
- You cannot add yourself: as the owner you always have access.
- Events, sessions and discussions inside the project can carry their own Shared setting too — see visibility levels.
Remove someone
- On the project's card, open the ⋯ menu and select Edit.
- Under Share with, click the X on the chip with the person's name.
- Click Save changes. The project disappears from that person's lists.
