Make a graphic recording as an image
Turn a discussion into a drawn summary with the Co-Pilot's image generation, then refine, download and share it.
A graphic recording is a drawn summary of a discussion: its main themes, ideas and open questions in one picture. In deliberAIde you make one with image generation. The Co-Pilot reads what was said and generates the picture as an image.
Make one
- Open the discussion you want to show.
- Click + below the message box, then Create and Image. A Create as chip for an image appears above the message box. You can also just ask for an image in your own words.
- Describe the graphic recording you want, for example: "A graphic recording of this discussion: the main themes as drawn clusters, the key proposals, the open questions, hand-drawn style, blue and green." The more you say about content, layout and style, the closer the first version gets.
- Press Enter. When the image is ready, a card for it appears in the chat. Click Open in Canvas to see it next to the chat. It is also saved with your artifacts.
Check it before you share it
The picture is generated from the discussion, but a drawing does not link its statements to their sources. Compare its wording with the discussion before you share it. For statements you need to trace back to the participants' words, ask the Co-Pilot in the chat: every statement in its answers carries a numbered source.
Change it
- In the chat: say what should be different, for example "Add the parking question" or "Use larger lettering". The Co-Pilot generates a new version.
- One area only: click Edit, paint over the area with the brush (adjust Brush size if needed), describe the change and click Apply edit.
Every change becomes a new version. Earlier versions stay available, so you can step back to the one you preferred. See Generated images for all controls.
Download and share
Download saves the version shown as a PNG, with or without the AI label (Download with AI label / Download without AI label). You share the image like any other artifact.
Not the Graphic artifact type
The Create list also offers Graphic. That is a different artifact type, built differently. For a graphic recording as described here, choose Image.
