Interface and content languages
Which language the app speaks to you in — and which languages your discussions are transcribed and analysed in.
The interface is available in English, German and Spanish — separately from that, every discussion has source languages (what people speak) and a target language (what your results are written in). The two never interfere: you can use a German interface to work on Spanish discussions.
Interface language
- What it changes: menus, buttons and messages — never your content.
- Where: click your profile icon at the bottom-left of the sidebar, choose Settings, then open Personal → Preferences → Interface language. Changes apply immediately.
- You also pick it in the welcome dialog the first time you sign in.
Discussion languages
You find both fields in the Transcription settings, in the Language section:
| Setting | What it means |
|---|---|
| Source languages | The languages actually spoken in the recording. Add every language you expect, so transcription recognises all speakers. |
| Target language | The single language your transcript analysis, answers and documents are written in. When it differs from a source language, deliberAIde translates contributions during processing. |
Set them once for your whole organisation, or override them per project, event, session or single discussion — each level inherits its value from the level above unless you change it.
