Review, comment and publish artifacts

Leave review notes, propose exact wording changes, and move a document or dashboard from draft to approved.

Documents and dashboards carry a human review workflow: teammates leave notes, propose exact wording changes, and move the artifact from draft to approved. This is separate from the AI-edit review, where you accept or reject changes the Co-Pilot just made — see Review AI edits before they land.

Open the review panel

On a document or dashboard canvas, click Open review at the top of the canvas. A panel titled Internal review opens on the right, showing the current Review state and counts of Open threads, Blocking notes, and Suggestions. Click Close review to hide it again.

Comment in threads

Click Add review note to start a thread. Select text in a document — or a contribution in a dashboard — first, and the note stays anchored to that spot. In a document, a note without a selection attaches to the whole document; in a dashboard, select a contribution before you can add a note. Mark a note as Blocking to hold up approval until it is settled. Anyone can Reply, and Resolve or Reopen a thread.

Propose exact changes

Where a note describes a problem, a suggestion fixes it. Click Propose change to suggest replacement wording for selected document text, or — on a dashboard — a new contribution summary, theme, or tag category. A reviewer clicks Accept change to apply it, or Reject change to discard it.

Move through review states

Use Request review to send a Draft — or a Changes requested revision — for review. A reviewer then clicks Request changes or Approve. Approval stays blocked while any Blocking thread is still open.

Request publication

Once a revision is Approved, Request organisation publication records a request that a reviewer can Approve request or Reject request. The panel keeps this history; the final packaging step is not yet available.
