Create and manage projects

You create a project on the Projects page with the New project button. A project is the top level of your work — every event, session and discussion you add later lives inside one.

Create a project

1. In the sidebar, open Projects.
2. In the top right, click New project.
3. Enter a Project name.
4. Pick a Start date and an End date. Events you add later must fall within these dates.
5. Choose who can see the project: Personal, Shared or Organisation.
6. Click Create project. The project appears as a card on the page.

Or describe the structure to the Co-Pilot

You don't have to click through the dialogs one by one. Describe the whole structure in the chat — for example "Set up a project called Climate Forum with two events, each with three sessions" — and the Co-Pilot proposes it as a Review setup card showing exactly what it will create. Nothing is built until you click Approve; Not now discards the proposal. See When the Co-Pilot asks before acting and Ask the Co-Pilot instead of clicking.

Edit a project

You can change the name, description, dates and visibility in two places:

• On the Projects page, open the card's ⋯ menu and choose Edit.
• Inside the project, click the gear icon in the header — it opens Edit project.

If you narrow the dates so that existing events would fall outside the new range, deliberAIde rejects the change and tells you which events fall outside. Update or delete those events first.

Delete a project

In the card's ⋯ menu, choose Delete, then confirm with Delete in the "Delete project" dialog. This also deletes every event, session and discussion inside the project, and it cannot be undone.

What the status badges mean

deliberAIde sets a project's status automatically from its dates — you never set it by hand:

You may occasionally also see Draft (no dates set) or Cancelled. To change a status, change the project's dates via Edit.
