Cancel, retry and failed uploads
How to stop a running upload, retry a failed one, and what to do when a retry is not possible.
A failed upload is rarely lost work: select "Retry" and deliberAIde reuses the file you already transferred, so you don't upload it again. Cancelling, retrying and removing all happen in the In progress list on the upload page.
You want to stop a running upload. In the In progress list, select Cancel next to the file. If you're asked "Cancel upload?", confirm with Yes, cancel. You know it worked when the row stops showing progress and now offers Retry and Remove.
An upload shows "Upload failed". Select Retry next to the file. The file transfer is reused, so you don't upload it again; the processing runs once more. You know it worked when the row shows progress again.
The retry says "Can't retry — source file removed". Retry runs on the server, not from your browser — so this means the server no longer has the original file. Either the first transfer never finished, or the file has since been cleaned up. Add the file again under Select files and upload it once more.
Your browser closed or the connection dropped mid-transfer. Only the Uploading step needs your browser. If the job was interrupted there, upload the file again. Everything after that step runs on the server — from then on you can close the page freely.
A file is rejected immediately. Messages like "File exceeds maximum size of…" or "Unsupported file format" mean processing never started. Convert the file to a supported format or reduce its size, then add it again.
You don't need to watch the page: the notification bell reports Upload completed, Upload failed and Bulk upload finished for every file, and a failed notification includes the error message.
Nothing helped? The best way to report it: in the app, open ? → Send Feedback — it automatically includes where you were on the platform and lets you attach a screenshot of exactly what you see. Alternatively, use the contact form.
