Watch guest recordings come in
How discussion cards and their status badges show live guest recordings, and when each transcript appears.
Every guest group gets its own discussion card on the session page, and both the cards and their status badges update on their own — no refreshing needed. Groups that start after you opened the page appear within a few moments. Open the session your invite link points to and you can follow the whole event from one screen.
What the badges mean
- Recording — the group is live right now; their audio is streaming in as they speak.
- Processing — the group has stopped; the transcript is being prepared.
- Completed — the transcript is done. Select View on the card to read it.
- Pending or Ready — the discussion exists, but nobody has recorded into it yet; the card's button is Start recording, not View.
- Error — processing failed for this group. Open the discussion to investigate, or retry from the upload page.
New groups appear on their own within a few moments of starting to record. If a table still has no card after a minute, check that the group found the link or QR code.
When the transcript appears
A group's transcript is usually ready a few minutes after they stop recording, and you don't have to wait for the last group: each transcript opens as soon as its own card shows Completed.
