Get better answers

The single biggest lever is scope: set it before you ask. The Co-Pilot only reads discussions inside the current scope, so a perfect question over the wrong discussions still gets a poor answer. Then keep each message to one question and build depth with follow-ups.

1. In the toolbar below the message box, click the Scope chip and pick the discussions your question is about.
2. Ask one question per message. "What were the concerns about costs?" beats a bundle of three questions — bundles get shallower answers.
3. Ask follow-ups in the same chat. The Co-Pilot keeps the thread's context, so "And how did the second group see that?" works without repeating yourself.
4. For analysis-heavy questions, switch the response style from Fast to Thinking — slower, but more thorough.
5. When you change topics, click the plus button and choose New task for this scope. You get a clean chat, and old context stops bleeding into new answers.

• Voices missing? Widen the scope — the absent discussions are probably outside it. See Scopes: what the Co-Pilot can see.
• Doubtful claim? Click its numbered reference and read the original contribution. See Citations: check every answer against the source.
• A big job rather than one question? Switch to Plan mode and approve a plan. See Agent mode and Plan mode.
