Set up guest recording in minutes

Create guest recording links and QR codes in one form, without setting up a project first.

One form gives you ready-to-share guest recording links: name a session, pick how guests join, and every group gets a link and QR code you can copy or print — no project setup needed.

Create the links

  1. In the sidebar, click Invite participants.
  2. Under Invite mode, choose Pre-named slots (one link and QR code per group) or Open invite (one shared link — guests name their own group when they arrive).
  3. Enter a Session name.
  4. If you chose Pre-named slots: name each group, click Add slot for every additional group, and optionally set Expires at (leave it empty to use the default of 30 days).
  5. If you chose Open invite: enter an Invite name (required — the Create and get links button stays disabled until you do), then optionally limit the link with Maximum uses and Expires at.
  6. Click Create and get links.
  7. The links appear, each with its own QR code — the session is ready for guests.

Copy or print the codes

  • Copy link puts a group's link on your clipboard — paste it into an email or chat.
  • With Pre-named slots, click a group's QR code to enlarge it, then use Download PNG for a single printable code. With an Open invite, use Copy link — the QR code is shown on screen but has no download button.
  • Download all QR codes (ZIP) gives you one printable PNG per group in a single download — the fastest way to prepare table cards.

Two details worth knowing: with Pre-named slots, links without an Expires at date stay valid for 30 days, while an Open invite without a date never expires. And the visibility options on the form control which colleagues can see the session and its recordings.

Each link row also lets you revoke, reactivate or replace a link later — see the lifecycle article below.
