Plan events inside a project

Create an event, schedule it within the project dates, and find your way around the event page.

An event is one occasion inside a project — a forum day, a workshop evening — and you create it on the project page with New event. Its dates must fall within the project's dates.

Create an event

  1. On the Projects page, open your project.
  2. In the top right, click New event.
  3. Enter an Event name.
  4. Pick a Start date and an End date. The allowed range — the project's dates — is shown under the fields.
  5. Click Create event. The event appears as a card on the project page.

Events don't have to be created one at a time. When you describe a whole structure to the Co-Pilot — a project with its events and sessions — it sets everything up in one go after you approve. See Ask the Co-Pilot instead of clicking.

The event page

Open an event card to see everything that happens at that occasion. Each session — a block like a breakout round or a plenary — appears as its own card with its format and how many of its discussions are done.

From the header you can:

  • Click New session to add a session block — see Sessions and session formats.
  • Click Invite participants to create invite links and QR codes for guests.
  • Click Open monitor to follow recordings across the whole event live.
  • Click the gear icon to open Edit event and change the name, dates or description.

Move or delete an event

On the project page, each event card has a ⋯ menu with Edit, Move and Delete. Move transfers the event — with all its sessions and discussions — to another project. Delete removes the event and everything inside it, permanently.
